Hey, I wanted to talk to you before I reply to your tag on Seimei's EP. I am trying to figure out whether the two of them would know each other or whether they are from AU versions of the Shinto pantheon (I suspect the latter).
Also, just to note, Seimei was a regular at Milliways for some time, but I had been away (and not posting him) from Milliways for almost a year until this summer, and I've only gotten him back into the swing of things very recently. I don't know how long Raiden has been at the bar, or how often, but it would be helpful to know.
Yeah, the MK-verse is an AU kitchen sink. Raiden and Fujin are there, but so is Lucifer (though he's dead, I think), along a bunch of other stuff the developers either borrowed or made up. Raiden himself doesn't bear much if any resemblance to RL Shinto beliefs about him. And in any case, he fits into a totally different universe with a different structure and rules. Really, this is a universe that exists primarily to justify a fighting game. As I said, he's the meathead Chicago-style version.
