Raiden is the eternal God of Thunder and protector of Earthrealm. He takes both of these roles very seriously - as a god, he thinks of all things on the timescale of eternity. Though not incapable of noticing the small details of mortal personality, he will tend to view the big picture first. This is one source (though by no means the only one) of his fallibility. Not even a god is perfect. Even so, provoke him at your own peril.
